Everything means everything. That can be a tough pill to swallow if you’re in the heat of a difficult season in your life. Nonetheless, GOD commands us to be thankful in it — not telling us to be thankful for it — IN it, Sister.
Part of me thinks that our loving Father makes this perfectly clear so that we will remember that He is there IN it with us. For that alone I find much to be thankful.
Whatever your situation, Friend, I pray that you will first look up and ask your Father for what your heart yearns. Then ask Him for someone with skin that you can talk to pray with and help lighten your burden.

I am thankful that His love is everlasting, and no matter what is happening in my life, I will always have Him with me and loving me because that is His promise to me. This gives me a feeling/knowing of security.
