Lift Your Spirit

I am reminded of the example of Moses — he just kept showing up to do what GOD gave Him to do. Forty years, day in and day out — sounds like a job, doesn’t it?

But that’s what Moses knew to do.

Then one fiery day, Yahweh appeared to Moses in a larger than life FaceTime experience of historic proportion. The Assignment was daunting and foreign to anything that Moses had ever encountered.

But Moses said, “Here I am, Lord.”

• What has the Lord been whispering to you that you’ve not surrendered to Him?
• Write out a prayer asking for the power of the Holy Spirit to release yourself into the trust of GOD’s Will.

The Bible is filled with people just like you and me … sometimes fearful of the unknown … feeling inadequate for the assignment that GOD is calling us to step into …

All the great heroes of the faith started that way. Doubting and uncertain that GOD was calling them to great things that they were capable of fulfilling. The Lord seems to do that — call ordinary people to do the extraordinary. He equips the called to do His Work with His Tools. Go ahead, Sister, exhale and breathe that sigh of relief …

• Are you ready to say, “I am available?”
