Why is letting go so hard to do?
We teach our children to take our hand so that we can lead them into their first steps. Some children take longer than others to trust this parental offering. As much as we try to convince our young ones that we will be there to keep them safe and from harm, some just don’t grasp that we will protect them.
I wonder if GOD Almighty looks at us in a similar way. He beckons us to have faith to trust Him with our lives, our dreams, our future, our finances, our families, our disappointments, our provisions … to surrender all of that to His Will.
If we consider it from a parental viewpoint, knowing that we would only provide the best for our children, how much more would our Creator GOD do exceedingly beyond our limited capacity?
This is a call to examine our faith in the GOD we say we worship. Does our faith go the distance to trust Him with it all? And then to answer the call to pull down the walls that prevent us from knowing Him greater than we do in this moment?
Let us allow the Holy Spirit to fill us with the desire to have His Will be our desire.
