Thankful Thursday

So now, what can I ever give back to God to repay him for the blessings he’s poured out on me? Psalm 116:12 TPT

Ever feel like saying the words, “Thank you,” just didn’t seem ‘enough?’ What words in the human language can possibly express the deep gratitude and with the full magnitude of heartfelt appreciation for having saved one’s life for all eternity?

For having reached down to not only spare and set aside, but to also bless immeasurably beyond one’s imagination? How do you lace those words together and what does that look or sound like?

That’s how I feel so many, many times — with such limited capabilities to fully express my thanks for what the Lord has done for and through me. Just in complete awe!

And somehow I believe that the Lord knows all that and He just wants me to utter those two words — because this side of Paradise there are no stronger or more meaningful ways to express thankfulness to Him.

I realize that to give Him honor is to worship Him with my life — that is the most acceptable sacrifice I could possibly offer.

What ways have you chosen to express your thankfulness to the One Who saved you from your sins and past life?

Maybe this is the year to make some needed adjustments. This reminder may be the call you were waiting for to confirm that those changes do need to be implemented.

Whatever you do, Sister, I pray that you will release your praise upward so that you can continue to live forward — to the glory of Him Who saved you and sanctified you for His Purpose.
