Who could use a little peace in the middle of their storm right now? Yes, me, too, Sister … me, too …

This song reminds me of when Jesus slept so soundly in the boat during a raging storm and in the midst of His Disciples’ emotional storm.

How many times have we each cried out in fear and dismay that the worse had just fallen upon us — begging GOD to ‘awaken’ to our situation (as if He were not aware)? Do we easily lose our confidence of the One Who promises to never leave us when we see those rocky waves of circumstances tossing our situation? Or do we hunker down and ride it out in our boat of hope clinging to our anchor of faith regardless of what we see?

We may not perfectly live it out at all times without any fear — but Sister, we can keep holding on knowing that our efforts and our faith are never in vain.

He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Psalm 91:4 NLT
