From the beginning of time — I’m talking Genesis, Friend — the requirement for atonement and healing was satisfied by the shedding of blood. When Adam and Eve disobeyed GOD, He covered their nakedness — that evidence that they had sinned — GOD Almighty made provision by covering His beloved with the skins of animals.
The LORD God made tunics of [animal] skins for Adam and his wife and clothed them. Genesis 3:21 AMP
While we were yet in our sin, GOD’s love made provision for us through the shedding of the blood of His only begotten Son. Blameless was He, but for the sake of our soul, He willing allowed Himself to be sacrificed — so that we would be redeemed and restored to relationship with the Father.
His blood made it possible for you and I to be made whole — from the inside out, and from the outside to testify further out.
There’s healing for your soul and your body and your mind in that blood. When Jesus walked this earth, He testified to this miracle by healing the sick and raising the spiritually dead to life. He gave sight to blind eyes that couldn’t see the mercy and grace of GOD in front of them. He healed wounds that oozed and ached for years; many of which soaked invisible bandages.
His Healing Power is still available for you and me today. Whatever you need this day, Sweet Friend, He is able to provide. Don’t shy away or think it doesn’t apply to you — if not for you, then for who? GOD has more than enough in supply.
Just ask. Just receive.
With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deed so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. Hebrews 9:12-14. NLT
He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed. 1 Peter 2:24. NLT
