It’s easy to see what rattles our cage or strikes our disapproval in ourselves and in those around us. I think that being a critic is so much easier than being a cheerleader. That thread of dissatisfaction for the way we appear in the mirror — it weaves a fabric that can wrap around our minds, choking out the very blessings of life.
This song brings us back to re-examine the presence of GOD in us — in our daily living. The evidence of promises fulfilled after painstaking prayerful days, weeks, months, years … of seeking resolve from the Lord.
Sometimes we just forget. I know I am guilty, too. Of going about my business and discounting the miraculous — like my last breath. It is said that we take approximately 43,000 breaths on a daily basis. So you say you’ve not experienced a recent miracle?
Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Genesis 2:7 NIV
Let this song minister to you, Sweet Friend, in a way that draws you nearer to the One Who comforts your soul with the peace that passes all understanding.
I will sing forever about the evidence of your mercy, O Lord. I will tell about your faithfulness to every generation. Psalm 89:1 God’s Word Translation
