Lift Your Spirit

For the one who has come to the realization of the power in surrender to the King of Kings … there is confidence in trusting Him to rebuild our life. Depending on how long we’ve walked the face of the earth and how long it took us to come to our senses, there could be years upon years of rebuilding to look forward to. But the Architect of our Souls will perfect His Plan and it will have been well worth it.

If you’re anything like me, I need all the help I can get. I’ve made such huge messes on my own, that I don’t trust me to direct my life’s plan. Anyone else? I can make some decisions, but the few that I can make without a ton of deep thought still require some serious prayer. I’m just of the belief that the fewer regrets I have, the fewer the consequences (and headaches and heartaches I’ll suffer from later).

When I made the conscious decision to build my life upon the Rock — the Firm Foundation — Jesus Christ — I said this is the way I will walk for the rest of my life and nothing will move me onto any other substance. Everything else is just sinking sand and will wash away with the tide of life’s challenges.

What kind of foundation are you building your life upon, Friend? Is it one that will stand the test of time? Are you thoroughly convinced that you will have no regrets? Or are you still searching for the right builder to give you their recommendation with the gamble that you may have to rebuild yet again?

By wisdom the Lord founded the earth; by understanding he created the heavens. Proverbs 3:19 NLT

In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord will be your treasure. Isaiah 33:6 NLT

But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house right on the ground, without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.” Luke 6:49 NLT

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~
