Lift Your Spirit

On the cusp of turning the corner into a new year. How will you do this? What are your plans? Have you made any new commitments for the months ahead? Any life-altering decisions in the mix?

As I look back over the past twelve months, there are things that I certainly would not want on ‘replay.’ Raise your hand in agreement if you’re with me on this. If I am truly honest with myself, I know, that I know — there are things that GOD would have me learn from this past year. And those lessons I choose to not relive. They say that lessons not learned are destined to be repeated. Nope. Not going there.

GOD in His Mercy will allow me to see the dawn of this coming new year with y’all. If not, I will be with Him. The Plan is in His Hand.

But if I should awaken to January 1st, I am confident that He has good things in store for me just around that corner. The distance between here (where I presently sit) to the corner is one thing that I must trust Him with. The time it takes to actually make it around that corner is another thing for me to rely upon Him with confidence. What lies beyond that corner is what only He could create and orchestrate.

I do know that He is for me. He surrounds me. He goes before me. I have His Blessing because I am His Child.

It is my deepest prayer for you this day to mediate on these words:

24 “‘“The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.”’ Numbers 6:24-26 NIV

These are Promises from GOD to you. To me. To all His Children that have recognized their need to come through His Son, Jesus Christ our Messiah.

He Promises to bless and keep you — guarding you with an everlasting love.

He Promises to shine upon you with His Glory and be gracious to you — He sees you with love in His Eyes and wants to gift you with Himself.

He Promises to look upon you and give you peace that only He can give.

Then He places His Name over us — declaring that we are His.

Park yourself right here today, Sister … and bask in the goodness of GOD and all that He could possibly give you.

“Be still, and know that I am God!” Psalm 46:10a NLT

Allow Him to cover you with His Wing this day as He loves on and blesses you.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~
