It’s no secret that the world around us is nothing like we knew it to be. The way we live today is a far cry from the routine we’ve grown accustomed to even the recent few years. Strangely enough, you don’t have to be very old to be able to comment on the vast differences. Even the elementary school-aged child has had to adapt and roll with the tide.
For the Believer, it should pull us in to take the opportunity to look closer at what is happening.
The Presence of GOD is all around us.
While the one who is fearful of uncertainty loses sleep, we who know the One Who has it all in His Hand are called to bring peace into a darkened world. With unwavering faith and confident trust, we are assured that the activity around us speaks of His Spirit moving and stirring the hearts of man. He is calling us, Friend, to rise up and respond. and to bring others to Himself.
31-33 Jesus answered them, “Do you finally believe? In fact, you’re about to make a run for it—saving your own skins and abandoning me. But I’m not abandoned. The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! Hope.
This thirsty world is crying out for it, but looking for it in all the wrong places. It needs people like you and me to bring it that cup of cold water. Living water.
Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” John 4:10 NIV
28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.
