What … Who … do you place your hope in, Friend?
It’s easy to say … and we can do it without much thought … utter the words: “I place my trust in GOD.” But do we really? And do we stop to consider the cost to follow through with those few words?
When the world around us is calling our name and with beckoning ‘promises’ to fill the longing desires of our hearts, do we pivot and say ‘I will follow the Lord no matter what?’ I think that if we took stock of the weight of those very words and carried them out to fruition, our world would be different … our outlook would be filled with hope … our perspective would be higher … our heads would look upward … our steps would be more firm … our stance would be uncompromising … our hearts would be resolute.
The promises of GOD do not change even in the midst of our ever fluctuating circumstances.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever! Hebrews 13:8 NET
The Living Word of GOD remains as fresh as when first spoken. Our feelings do not change GOD’S promises. He is the trustworthy and faithful One. His promises do change us.
It is my prayer, Sister, that you will experience His presence as you seek the fulfillment of His promises in your life. He will not fail you. He will never leave you. The miracle you seek is on its way — keep looking for it and be open to it — it may look very different from what you envisioned or had hoped for. GOD has a way of blowing our minds with much better than we ever imagined.
