Lift Your Spirit

I will thank the Lord at all times.
My mouth will always praise him. Psalm 1:34 GW

For this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations, and sing to your name. Psalm 18:49 ESV

I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. 2 Samuel 22:4 ESV

In the greatest of times and in the eye of the storm, the Lord is worthy to receive our praise.

If I analyze with my human nature, I’d say that it’s nearly impossible to lift up a voice of gratitude when things are chaotic. Who does that? The one who knows that He Who holds everything in His Hand has it all in control. The Hand that can calm the storm and turn things around for us.

If you haven’t been acquainted with the Person of Jesus Christ, come, Friend … join us … open up your heart and get to know Him. Then you’ll understand why the Christ Follower can sing in the middle of the storm.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29 NIV

Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9 NIV

All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. John 6:37 NIV

This song of worship and praise comes to you from two of my favorite artists, so I hope you’ll be just as inspired as I was when I first heard it. You’ll want to get up and join them when you hit the replay, so make sure you have room to dance and shout!

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~
