I come from a genetic tree of people that love to celebrate around food and likewise show and share hospitality through that same food. On certain occasions, our doors are wide open to visitors who know they are welcome to stop on in and sit for a bit and share whatever they wish with whoever is in the room. It’s basically an open forum and a great place to catch up with those whom you love and maybe haven’t seen in awhile.
As we chat, we nibble and sip … chat some more … nibble and sip a lot more. The activity is fueled by the delicacies brought in by those whose company we are enjoying and experiencing in the present.

This month as we celebrate Mother’s Day (and that includes you, too) I’d like to invite you in to experience a few things some dear friends wanted to share with us. So come on in, get comfy with me at the table as we sip on a favorite warm something (go ahead, grab that soft cuddly blanket, too).
It is often said that the heart of the home is the kitchen. With that in mind, we’re baking, cooking up some love and sharing from our kitchens. We’re putting a different twist on it — the kitchen is our heart and it is where we will serve up and exchange ‘recipes’ that the Lord has blessed us with.

These bite-size morsels of wisdom and care come from the hearts of those who desire to feed the hearts and minds with some soulful life lessons that they’ve learned along the journey. Some have been traveling for quite some time while others may have just taken their first few steps. Regardless of where you are along the path, we believe that you will find kinship with a few folks here. Maybe even find a sister or two with whom you can do life.
There may be some precious morsels that you’ve never had the pleasure to experience … delicious tid-bits of motherhood that just seem to ‘hit the spot’ for this season in which you you find yourself now sitting, walking or (like most of us) kneeling (a lot of that going on!). Or maybe you’d considered an idea but feared putting feet to it, but another woman’s testimony has now given you hope to reach beyond your self-set limitations. If you find yourself paralyzed by fear in a present situation, please know that when we are in Christ, there’s always hope.
Anything is possible.
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 ESV

Share the wealth of wisdom that GOD has given you with those in your midst. You may very well find that there are many others with whom you are able to partner and strengthen. So I encourage all of us to take in and feast, exchange with love, dialogue over the delicacies! Comments are more than welcome on each post.
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:4 NIV

Stop by often … you never know what you’ll find or who will be here to greet you on any given day.
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~
