I shudder at the thought of where I could possibly be without the mercy of the Lord GOD Almighty.
Yes, Lord, don’t ever let me go.
Just as the Lord redeemed His People from the slavery of Egypt, He has redeemed us from our former bondage of slavery.
Maybe you’re walking on the precipice of that border between bondage and freedom — but you may not know it. It’s a dangerous thing to not be resolute about something like eternity. Somethings may be taunting you to return to that comfy and familiar territory — the lure of conformity and sameness.
You are all God’s children by believing in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26 GWT
And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:18 NIV
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 NLT
Or you may be on this side of Paradise having already made up your mind about Jesus and expectantly waiting for Him to return. You’re among those of us who know where we’ve been, what we’ve done, who we’ve been with — and THANK GOD that while He was there watching us in our foolishness, continues to have endless mercy and grace to keep on forgiving us. Count yourself among those who like the Apostle Paul, dropped it all to gain far more than the mind could fathom.
It is my prayer for you, Friend, that you are eternal secure. And if you are not sure, there’s no better time than now to be sure.
