Let your mind take you back to what you were like when you were 11, 12 or 13 years old … and the things that preoccupied your mind at that time in your life. Those dramatic things (or so we held them that way) earmarked the era of upside down hormones and awkward behaviors.
If you were anything like me, it was a season filled with dreams for the grown up world that seemed so far away and deep yearnings to hurry up and get there.
Learning how to navigate relationships was incredibly daunting. Crying sessions were unpredictable. Not understanding the emotional and physical changes did not help matters much.
Too old for the baby things and too young for the adult things of life.
And yet, GOD had predetermined that a young girl of this age, having been raised with the richness of faith in Him, would carry His Son. Mother Mary had barely left her childhood when she was suddenly thrusted into her destiny.
Come and listen to these amazing words, as you let your imagination take you there — where Mary was when she was with Child. Hear her heart as she raises it to GOD in praise and wonder, praying for the Help she will need to fulfill her calling.
