Lift Your Spirit

Stepping out in faith … into our divine destiny … it can be daunting when you stop to consider the fact that this defies the world’s popular culture.

Fear can paralyze us in our tracks if we count the cost and fail to truly believe that the power of GOD within us will see us through.

As adults, we wrestle with the day-to-day grind, much less our life altering decisions that require our attention.

And yet here, a child herself, Mother Mary was called to rise up to her appointed future as the mother of our Savior. Can you grasp the immense intimidation and heavy responsibility that must have felt for a girl just coming to terms with her role as a woman? No longer a baby dependent upon her own mother, yet seeming too young to bare one of her own.

37 For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.” 38 Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel left her. Luke 1:37-38 Amplified

And as we have read and now know, she, just like you and me, lived and breathed every moment capturing the nuances of life as they happened.

19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 NIV

Come and sit with this song that celebrates and commemorates the human heart of a chosen woman who would teach us and show us what life looked like from her relationship with her Savior.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~
