If we’re going to grow, we need to be fully transparent with GOD and ourselves. After all, it is said that we cannot change what we do not acknowledge. So, it’s time to call ‘it’ out.
We can try to hide behind the smiley face mask and pretend that our lives are Pinterest perfect and Instagram worthy to publicize. But let’s be real here, Sister, the mask eventually gets worn out, or at best, comes off when no one is looking.
Pain and hurt are realities of life — you and I are as normal as the Biblical characters we have learned from. Imperfect and terribly flawed lives thrusted them into the Arms of the Savior Who embraced them and walked with them from wound to healing and forever changed their lives.
GOD does that.
But we have to be real in order to heal. Then the magnitude of the love of GOD can overwhelm our space and transform every fiber of our being from the inside out.
If we believe GOD and take Him at His Word, phenomenal things will begin to happen. Those ginormous problems begin to shrink. They may not totally disappear, however, in the face of a Powerful GOD, they lose their strength to control us — because we allow Him to take control and our focus is on Him instead of our circumstances.
Come and listen in on a heartfelt conversation where the compassion of GOD overflows. I pray you will be touched as I have been.
