“Goodbye Loneliness” ~ Love McPherson

“Loneliness is the result of not feeling seen, heard or understood enough.”

Love McPherson

I showed you in all things that you should work as I did and help the weak. I taught you to remember the words Jesus said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Acts 20:35 NCV

By now, you should know that I am a huge proponent of women finding their community ~ Girlfriends ~ sisters-in-Christ in order to live and do this life well. Girlfriend, we were meant to do life together.

One of the most dangerous places to be is in isolation. And here’s the kicker: you can be in a crowded room and still be isolated. Another word is: lonely. It’s in the isolation that we cultivate a wrong way self-talk dialogue. Remember Eve in the Garden of Eden.

Beware, Sister, loneliness is a choice ~ we don’t have to live this way. Yes, we do need occasional solitude for sanity’s sake and to have that quiet time with the Lord (which really is the foundation to sanity). Choose life and choose joy.

I love this transparent and honest conversation among close friends. This topic of loneliness is especially critical at this time of year and during this time in our history ~ because we can be influential in making a positive change.

Grab a your Bible, hot drink, something to take notes and sit back for a bit to hear this and be blessed. And I pray that you will experience a better today and a fuller tomorrow.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
