“Are You Living Your Truth or THE Truth?” ~ Lysa TerKeurst with Steven Furtick

24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:24 ESV

“All the best stories are borne in messy moments.” ~ Steven Furtick

I find it easy to have conversations with myself (okay, no judgement here ~ I know I’m not the only one) that don’t always align with what GOD says about me or my present situation. And it’s that sort of thing that this transparent conversation between Pastor Steven Furtick and Lysa TerKeurst tackles.

Sometimes we awaken with too much memory of the palm-face faux pas of yesterday. Oh, how we wish we could erase those moments from the minds of others that were eye witness to our missteps. And so the inner silent dialogue gets well underway before we set foot on the floor and we have defeated ourselves out of confident expectation of the possibilities and nuances that GOD wants to pour out for us ~ and we’ve yet to have our first cup of coffee.

Internal dialogue can be harmful to one’s health when it is left unchecked against the truth of GOD’s Word. There is the need to broaden the conversation to include the Lord Himself ~ also known as prayer.

Come sit with me for a bit and take notes ~ you will have many a-ha moments throughout this discussion. You will see and hear the truth about what GOD wants you to know about how He sees you and recognize the importance of living out that view by being the (k)new you.

I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~
