27 “Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. Luke 12:27 NIV
If you’re familiar with Ruth Chou Simons, you will know that she masterfully crafts her words of faith and encouragement so that they seemingly intertwine with her artwork.
In her latest book, “The Way of the Wildflower,” Ruth blends brushstrokes and pen to bring words of wisdom found in GOD’s Word the Bible. This is truly her best work.
It’s not your typical devotional book, with dates to correspond with daily reading. Rather, it is a collection of meditations on gospel truths that are arranged in a manner that the beholder can relate to in real time living through common everyday (challenging) life situations. With each page you will encounter Ruth’s watercolor work soothing your senses as GOD’s Word satisfies your soul.
This is a must-have to add to your library. And I know that there are those of you (like me) who prefer the digital format for books because, quite frankly, we’ve only so much space to devote to our books. However, this is one you must have in hardcopy to fully appreciate its purpose in delivering the message.
“Disappointment wrecks you only if your greatest treasure is something that can change.” Ruth Chou Simons
This is one of my favorite quotes from the collection of The Way of Resilience in her book. In this section, Ruth discusses the many ways in which GOD can demonstrate His love for us in allowing us to experience hardships to help us grow stronger in our faith and dependency upon Him.
“The Way of the Wildflower” is set to be released in October, and you can pre-order your copy today wherever you typically purchase your books. I can assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised when you get your copy.
