“You Are GIFTED.”

Matthew 25:29 “For to everyone who has and values his blessings and gifts from God, and has used them wisely, more will be given, and he will be richly supplied so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have because he has ignored or disregarded his blessings and gifts from God, even what he does have will be taken away.

I love this in the Amplified translation ~~ it speaks to the depth of us “valuing” our God-given Blessings and Gifts (talents, skills, etc.) ~~ and puts the Question to us: “What have you done with me lately?”

Unlike the familiar song that sounds like the proverbial Question, this does not spin a self-centered inquiry. Rather, it forces us to re-examine our use (or lack thereof) of the many talents God has given us to glorify Him. And then the Scripture warns us that inactivity or lack of intentional movement utilizing such gifts will lead (not might lead, but WILL) to a removal or “taking away” (LOSING) of such gifts.

But there’s REWARDS for those who “produce” or act on their gifts ~~ I like the sound of this ~~ MORE is on the way! So what to do? Sounds pretty simple doesn’t it?
Get MOVING, Girlfriend❣

“What if I ‘fail?'”

“What if I’m ridiculed?”

“What if my plans don’t pan out as I had told everyone?”

“What if I look ‘foolish?'”

On and on and on ~~ we can spin this ’til we’re blue in the face! It’s called: MAKING EXCUSES.
I’m learning, Girlfriend, that to TRUST GOD often ‘looks’ like we’re going out on a limb (to the world). But if we remember that in all that we do, the MOST important Audience is the Audience of One ~~ The One to Whom we are accountable. The One Who always sees, even when the world doesn’t.
And THAT is the difference! 
As I travel further down this Journey, I’ve also come to the realization that I get no GREATER satisfaction than that of pleasing The Lord. So I’ve been learning what it ‘feels like’ to NO LONGER be a ‘people pleaser.’ And I must confess: it feels AWESOME ~~ because there’s FREEDOM there!
So what does being a ‘former people pleaser’ have to do with using my God-given gifts? It means that I can share with y’all ~~ in transparent and genuine love ~~ and fulfill my purpose of ‘bringing you up alongside of me.’ With steadfast encouragement and championing your heartfelt desire to also use your gifts well. One of mine just happens to be a ‘cheerleader.’ 🙋🏻
Traveling this Journey with The Lord has opened my eyes to the many Gifts I’ve been given ~~ you have yours, too. If you don’t know what they are, it’s time for a personal inventory. Grab your journal and let God speak to your heart ~~ ask Him to reveal them to you ~~ and be ready for the eye-opening experience.
It’s likely that your strongest inclination towards specific activities will speak volumes in this area. The way in which you interact with people ~~ the career you’re attracted to (notice I didn’t say the one you’re presently in) ~~ the ‘heart’s desires’ are usually strong clues (if you’re asking God for His Desires for your life). There may be some things that seemingly ‘come natural’ for you ~~ pursue those areas; God deposits those for a Reason.
And then seek to develop them. He will use them for His Glory ~~ JUST ASK.

I pray that you awaken tomorrow with a RENEWED sense of Purpose and will actively seek to use ALL the Gifts God has given you ~~ because MORE are on the way!
