Reliance … confidence … hope … dependence … assurance …
All of these words point to the word: trust.
When I think of trusting in something or someone, I also consider vulnerability. I become vulnerable to the other party’s response to me and that includes how they handle my thoughts, feelings, actions and words. Essentially, I am giving myself believing that they will reciprocate or come back with good things and treat me well.
5 Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you,
and he will lead you in every decision you make. 6 Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Proverbs 3:5-6 The Passion Translation
This verse in the Passion Translation exemplifies the relationship with the Lord as being foundational to the trust factor. Advising us to give ourselves to Him completely. Drawing so close to Him that we have an intimate relationship with Him. And the Promise that accompanies this trust in Him is that He will lead us wherever we go.

Unlike the man-made remedies and systems that leave you still unquenched and yearning for deeper and long lasting results, an intimate and personal relationship with Jesus brings wholeness, restoration and healing. Things that the world cannot manufacture. And even if you found something remotely close, it would only be a temporary fix.
He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow]. Psalm 147:3 Amplified
He who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Me], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.’” John 7:38 Amplified
The Bible is GOD’s written Word intended for us to have that guidance and wisdom whenever we need it. Jesus is the Living Word of GOD in the flesh, come down to show us the Father — speaking and teaching us that wisdom so that we can understand how to live in real time. The Holy Spirit living within us is GOD revealing to our inner man (spirit) His Way as He shows us in the written Word. GOD can even Whisper into our spirit as we enthusiastically seek Him in prayer and study and through other Believers in sermons and teachings.
There’s so much more available to us than all the internet and libraries of the world. And unlike those sources, GOD is available to us free and 24/7 and without the requirement of wifi connectivity. GOD has not placed an expiration date on His accessibility. As long as there’s breath in our lungs, He is there for us.
I encourage you today, Friend, to find your place of trust in Him. He’s never let anyone down and He certainly will not disappoint you. If you’re tired of looking to the left and right with no return on your efforts, try looking Up.
