Lift Your Spirit

Sometimes you come across a song that, just like a good meal that hits the spot, keeps you hitting the replay button. This is one of those songs.

Music is an outlet for the soul to speak in a gifted manner. Many people have the talent to manage their gift in such a spectacular way that it draws listeners in to want to hear more. I am not one of those who possess that talent. So, I search for those who can do what I cannot and applaud their GOD-given abilities, especially their vocal cords.

This simple medley declares the majesty of heaven and the extraordinary event that made the pages of history: Christ is born.

There was a lot of activity in an obscure place on the globe. Audience of just a handful of shepherds, barn animals and sheep, the hosts of heaven may have sounded like this had they human voices.

I love medleys like this because they beautifully blend all the things into a wave of praise that I can listen to all day. I just may be hitting the replay button again and again over the next 24 hours …
