I must admit that I get sad when my blooms “age” and wither away. Even though that is what happens every so many days after having them displayed throughout the house ~~ and I return to the garden to retrieve the next batch.
The extraordinary scent that streams through the house where they are positioned is simply heavenly. The colors are nothing short of exquisite.
As I watch them begin their last phase of “life,” and the brown edges increase and seemingly overtake the spaces where fuchsia and bright yellow once were, I can’t help but wonder: “Am I growing older gracefully?”
I’m NOT referring to my biological status ~~ oh, heavens NO! But rather, is my “temperament and attitude” representing an image that I want others to associate with remembering me?
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Hmmmm ………
Is my image reflecting the RIGHT image ~~ “for those coming up behind me?”
I love you to Heaven and Back, Girlfriend ~~
